Overview: "Den velmenende og varmhjertede, men akk så klumsete eks-advokaten Fritjof Fomlesen, redder på mirakuløst vis en skipbrudden katt. I pusens halsbånd skjuler det seg et bilde av en nydelig pike og en lapp som roper "hjelp!". Intetanende snubler Fomlesen inn i Dobberby og legger seg ut med den genial oppfinneren Rex Dobbermann, en hund etter rikdom og makt. Fomlesens overraskendeankomst gir Dobbermann, samt hans høyre og venstre hånd, Britt Bull og Sam Bernard, dobbelt arbeid og hodebry. Mot sin vilje vikles Fomlesen inn i Dobbermans lumske planer, og til slutt er han den eneste som kan avverge en nært forestående kattastrofe i den idylliske byen."

Overview: "Far away in the middle of a desolate landscape and surrounded by a beautiful river, is the stone town of Dobercity, former Catsand. A dark cloud has covered the red tiled roofs. Rex Doberman rules the small town. He is a brilliant but crazy inventor, a cat hater and a dog after wealth and power. His newest invention is a mechanical puppy called Star, and now he wants to collect all the cats in Dobercity, and make them into mechanical animals. With help from his assistants, Britt Bull and Sam Bernhard, he tries to rid Dobercity of living cats. The people of Dobercity are fond of real, living cats, and tries to hide them from Doberman and his terrible assistants. They ask Fumblebody, who is an unemployed lawyer, to help them save their cats. With the help from Doberman's cat-loving daughter, Tess, he runs to the task without hesitation. After collecting all the cats in the city, Doberman outsmarts Tess and Fumblebody, and steal all the cats from them. He brings them to his factory, where his transformation machine is ready for use. A struggle takes place, Doberman is pushed in his own machine and ends up as a mechanical cat. The good conquer evil and Fumblebody and Tess live happily ever after."
